A Best Friend Story

This girl named Miranda rode her bike as usual. She had no friends because she got bullied a lot by Kenzie and Holly. They were sisters and always picked on Miranda. But on Friday as Miranda rode her bike to school, she fell of her bike and got injured. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay? Want me to help you up?" said this voice. Miranda could barely see. "I'M FINE!" Miranda yelled, thinking it was Kenzie or Holly. "Well, you seem mad. I'm new to this school," said the girl. Miranda got up and started riding her bike again. "Okay, well I'm fine now," Miranda said. The girl looked at Miranda and said, "My name is a Lola. Want to be friends? I don't have any friends." Miranda had a big smile on her face. She knew exactly what to say. "Of course, because I don't have any friends either. I just get bullied." Lola said, "Wow, but now you do! Me!" Miranda wasn't knew to the school. She new her way around so she promised Lola that she'd show her around. Miranda said, "Okay, well now that I showed you everything-" Kenzie cut Miranda off and said in Miranda's voice, "Lets go play with toys!" Miranda looked at Kenzie, "You can play by yourself Kenzie, because I don't want to play with toys or you!" Kenzie walked away while Holly yelled at Miranda. "WHO IS THIS? ARE YOU THIS WEIRD NEW GIRL? HA!" Lola whispered,"So, are these the mean girls?" Miranda whispered back,"Ya. There definitely not the nice girls." "UGH! I'M LEAVING!" Holly yelled. Miranda said,"Do we care?" Holly ran over to Kenzie and they gossiped about the new girl and Miranda.
Lola is on the left and Miranda is on the right.
"So Miranda, are you used to them being mean?" Lola said. Miranda laughed and said,"Ya. They bullied me all the time last year in 6th grade." Lola said to Miranda, "Well, did you used to have friends?" Miranda remembered that she did once have friends. "Yep. But they go to a different middle school," Miranda said sadly. The bell rang for school. Kenzie and Holly ran in front of Miranda and Lola and they fell over. "Ouch," said Lola. "Well, at least you didn't fall off a bike today," Miranda said, "Let's get up!"
